once there was a Snowman

This has been such a cold winter.  We had been waiting and waiting for the snow to warm up enough we could build with it. This was the first day it was above freezing in weeks.

Claire, Henry and I went out and build these snowmen.

Of course, Henry knocked it over...

Claire wanted a snow dog.  She said, "I'm going to miss this dog when he melts."
....She REALLY wants to get a real dog.  She told me it was what she asks for every time she makes a wish.

I rebuilt this funny upside-down snowman.

This is my old dress.  I know it's getting small on her but she loves to wear it and I love it when she does.  It's one of those fun twirly dresses that makes her feel pretty.

I love moments like this.  My dad is such a good grandpa.  My kids love his so much.

Christmas Morning!!!

Grannie Annie stayed the night and was with us on Christmas morning.

Claire got these horses from Santa.

It's one of my favorite traditions to sing the Christmas Hymns gathered around the candle windmill.
Gma and Gpa Wilkins were with us that evening.

This Blue Track (with a Darda car) from Gma Durrant is my favorite present.
We play with it almost everyday.

Mike made the best breakfast.Chef Ramsey style french toast with a raspberry lime sauce, peaches with basil, and a cream sauce.

Apparently, Mike couldn't get enough camping in the summer
so he went out back and built a fire in the fire pit.

Gma and Gpa Wilkins got us this puzzle that we worked on during the break.

We finally finished it on New Years Eve!

Andrew's Big Day

My little boy is a big boy now.  Where did the time go? Andrew turned twelve on Sunday and got the Aaronic priesthood.  It was definitely one of the best moments of my life. I'm so proud of my young man.

Andrew, Henry, Ethan and cousin Cody. Such handsome young men!

My little princess Claire with her new bob a-line haircut.

Afterward, we celebrated his and my dad's birthday with home-made brownies! yummy!
Andrew is 12 and grandpa is 59.

Claire took some pics. with the camera and I found this gem among them.
Sorry Devin, I guess it was a long day, eh?
