This is Andrew's school picture. The actual one is not blurry, this is a picture of the picture. I love the missing tooth. I'm glad we could capture this time of life.

Halloween
We went to the ward Halloween party and then did a few houses in the neighborhood. Andrew is dressed as Mario and Ethan is Superman, of course. We brought some friends who are dressed as a Purdue cheerleader and Spider man. Kathleen gave me permission to copy her costume idea and I was able to throw it together in about an hour. Turned out cute. Claire makes the costume work. The funny thing about Ethan's costume is that I had bought him a new!!! dragon costume since he has finally outgrown his dinosaur costume that he wore for like a year straight. But the new dragon costume has a bit of a full belly and he says it embarrasses him, so he wouldn't wear it to the party. However he did wear it to the preschool Halloween party and I should have taken a picture because now he won't put it on again. Oh, well.
Dress Up
On Saturday morning the boys dressed up in the pirate costumes and even drew beards on their faces with my make-up. (note the placement of Ethan's "beard" in the first picture-he was not happy about me taking his picture). Then they made treasure maps, hid some treasure in the yard and went on a treasure hunt! Thank you Grannie Annie for the fun times.

Mike: Talking About Our Times
I'm 30. My cash flow is the negative. Yet, I am able to stay positive because... pause for like 30 seconds...I don't know why. I have my piano for writing music in order to stay sane, which is really fun. I can turn my emotions into sounds. I have an old squeaky aerobic rider for exercise in the garage. I don't like that thing, but I have to exercise. Becca bought me some new shorts. They're too big, but were on sale. No problem, I just cinch'em up with the string and say to myself "you are the best" in that Nacho Libre accent and go exercise. I'm applying for internship to like 15 places. They vary geographically across the United States. Here are the states I'm applying to: Utah, Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, New York, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Illinois, and I can't remember the rest. My dissertation is on "Predictors of Complicated Grief: Attachment Style, Neuroticism, and Affect Regulation." Is that good Becca? She said Yes.
