This ward has it down to a science! They brought in people with a computer program and special timers and everything. We were done with racing 35+ cars for the derby in 15 min.! Andrew did now place but he won one of the heats. That was good enough for him.
Andrew would not help make the car so Ethan and Dad did it all. So Andrew got to race the car and Ethan got to keep it afterwords. (ownership is very important to Ethan) They were both happy with that arrangement so it worked out well.
We had a great time. I'm sure this will be the first of many derbys and we will just get better and better.

Becca! It's so fun to see your cute family! We just had the pinewood derby here too and Josh designed a 'batmobile' as well :) Also, Anna has the same Christmas dress as Claire (with the blue sparkles) I love it! You can find our bench at church because it is embedded with blue sparkles :o) Those sparkles are everywhere!
